Use of cookies related to ordering, delivery via email link, and licensing of photographs is regulated by:

2.1 Cookies are small text files stored on your device when visiting the Website.

2.2 The Company uses cookies only for lawful and transparent purposes in accordance with:

  • EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC

  • Norwegian Electronic Communications Act (ekomloven).

A. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Purpose:

  • enable checkout and payment,

  • generate and send download link by email,

  • remember consent to loss of withdrawal rights for digital content,

  • security and fraud prevention.

Legal basis: performance of contract and legitimate interest.

These cookies do not require opt-in.

B. Functionality Cookies

Purpose:

  • remember language and currency,

  • show previously viewed licenses,

  • improve user experience for both consumers and business buyers.

Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Opt-in may be requested depending on EU country.

C. Analytics Cookies (Optional)

Purpose:

  • anonymous statistics about visits,

  • measure worldwide demand for photographs.

Legal basis: consent.

The Company does not set any specific analytics colors or tracking that identifies individuals without consent.

  • display offers for different image licenses.

No cookies may be used for:

  • AI training,

  • dataset scraping,

  • generative remix services (see T&C § __ AI Prohibition).

4. Data Processed Through Cookies

4.1 Cookies may process:

  • IP address,

  • country (for VAT digital rules),

  • buyer type (Consumer/B2B),

  • order ID and license chosen.

4.2 The Company receives only the data necessary to deliver the digital file via email link.

5. Third-Party Providers

5.1 Payment processors and link-delivery services may set their own necessary cookies (PCI/secure download).

5.2 These providers act as data processors under agreement with the Company in Norway.

5.3 The Company does not control external platform cookies such as social media; however upload to such platforms must respect attribution and AI ban.

6. Consent Management (EU/EEA)

6.1 On first visit from EU/EEA territory, the Website displays a cookie banner where you can:

  • accept all optional cookies,

  • accept necessary only,

  • customize per category.

6.2 Consent may be withdrawn at any time (see §7).

7.1 The Customer can manage cookies by:

  • the cookie banner “customize” button,

7.2 Withdrawal does not affect legality of previous necessary cookies used for delivered orders.

8.1 Necessary cookies live only as long as required to send the download link and document license.

8.2 Optional analytics/marketing retention: twelve (12) months.

9.1 You have the right to:

  • withdraw consent,

  • request insight into cookie-processed personal data,

  • complain to Datatilsynet Norway.

10. Changes

10.1 The Company reserves the right to update its policies to remain compliant with Norwegian/EU regulations.
