Parking forbidden

The thriving city of Maastricht in Southeastern Netherlands is full of amazing architecture, morden and historical. The city's sense of humour is distinctly portrayed by these jean shorts hanging on a parking structure with visible instructions from the city's administration 'IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PARK YOUR BICYCLE'.

Lying on both sides of the Maas (Meuse) river, where the Jeker merges with the Maas, Maastricht is near the border with Belgium and boasts a population of over 3.5 million people. The Euro currency is believed to have been born in this Dutch city, Maastricht. Maastricht emerged from an early Roman settlement.
